Life imprisonment for rape in Noakhali

Noakhali correspondent:Noakhali kabirihata rape case in the upazila The court has given life imprisonment to a young man named Sabuj. Judge Mohammad Shamsuddin Khaled, Judge of Women and Children Repression Repression Tribunal-2 of the district on Wednesday gave the ruling in the presence of the accused.

The convicted Sabu is the son of Nur Nabi of Sundalpur village of the same upazila. In the verdict, he ordered a jail term of imprisonment of Tk 25,000 and sentenced to two more years of rigorous imprisonment for life.

According to the court sources, the convicted Sabuj was raped more than once by showing the temptation of a young girl of Uttam Lamhi village in 2008. At one stage, the girl gave birth to a daughter. Green denied the fact that the father of the child born was identified. Later, the victim's father filed a case against the victim and filed a case in the court alleging the father's identity and rape. According to the court order, the children and the green DNA of the test was done. At the end of the long hearing, the court gave this verdict.

Mamunur Rashid, the Special Rapporteur of Women and Child Repression Prevention Tribunal-2, confirmed the matter. He said, the plaintiff's satisfaction in this verdict is satisfied.
