Arrested in Laksmipur, 7-year-old child raped

There is a complaint of rape of a 7-year-old child in the education village of Alexandra in Ramgati upazila of Laxmipur. Victim was admitted to Noakhali General Hospital on Monday and his medical examination was completed. In the incident, Ramgati police arrested a youth named Mohon (21), who was involved in the incident. In this incident, victim's father Fazle Azeem filed a case against Mohan in connection with the Mohan police station. The incident took place on Thursday afternoon.

Victim's mother at Noakhali General Hospital said, on Thursday, at around 2 pm, when her child was going to read private, she did not initially mention when she was forced to rape her in a garden in front of her brother, and she was afraid to kill him. After he felt the pain, know the matter to the mother.

The police filed the complaint with the Ramgati Police Station on Saturday, but police did not take the matter. After 4 days of the incident, the child was admitted to Noakhali General Hospital.

Ramgati thana Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) Mohammad Yusuf said in the case that a case has been filed and Asimi was arrested at noon today.

Resident doctor of Noakhali General Hospital Syed Mohiuddin Abdul Azim said that the medical examination of the victim was completed. She is under treatment.
