The husband's wife was murdered by her husband due to not giving her dowry in Noakhali

Noakhali correspondent: In Subarnachar village of Subarnachhar upazila of Noakhali, the husband found the allegation of molestation of his wife by giving her the dowry demand.

In the incident, the father of the deceased Alauddin filed a case against the deceased at Charbazar Police Station on Wednesday noon. The incident took place on Wednesday night. The autopsy has been completed at Noakhali General Hospital.

The family of the deceased said, Sajeda Akter was married to Sirajul Maula of the same village a year and a half ago. After marriage, the husband goes abroad. Meanwhile, her family members demanded Tk 1 lakh from dowry from her father. There is a dispute between the two families. Last 15 days, husband Sirajul Mawla came from abroad and took the wife to his home. At one stage, on Wednesday night, the husband and his mother-in-law and the family members hanged the house and hung the dead body.

Subarnachar Police Station Officer-in-charge Sahed Uddin confirmed the incident and said a case has been filed. But no one was arrested yet.
