There is no monitoring of environmental disaster and Environment Department. On Wednesday noon, at the main road near the Land Office of Charmatua Union, the hour-long program was organized. The participants of the human chain said that at least 15 to 20 cows were slaughtered every day in the main road of Udaysadur Hat of Charmatua Union. People from different places of Noakhali come to take beef from there. So, there is a lot of demand for meat. Besides, more than 100 cows were slaughtered in special days. But there is no system for waste removal. The waste is left beside the road. The bad taste spreads around it There are several institutions, including the Union Land Offices and various school colleges beside the road. Thousands of students and businessmen of these organizations are being attacked by various diseases due to bad odor. Former member Abul Basar Chowdhury, Sadar Upazila Awami League's science and technology affairs secretary Kazi Hasan, Union Land Assistant Officer Md. Shahidullah and students of different school colleges spoke in the human chain. The speakers immediately demand the removal of waste from this main road and to prevent rapid transit and environmental disaster. Chairman of Charmatua Union Md. Kamal Uddin Bablu said, it is a problem of senility, I also want it to be transferred. Administration intervention is important in this case, otherwise setting up a biogas plant will benefit economically with the protection of the environment. Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Md Ariful Islam Sardar said, I heard the matter. Necessary measures will be taken in this regard.
