Noakhali correspondent: Police arrested five accused in the incident of gang rape of a six-year-old mother in a suburb of Noakhali on Sunday night. Arman, Rubel and Raihan were arrested from Ramgati in Lakshmipur district on Tuesday noon. Police arrested five people on this issue.

Abul Bashar and Yusuf Majhi, arrested on Monday, were handed over to judicial magistrate No. 2 of the district on Tuesday noon on Tuesday, seeking remand for seven days. Later, the court judge Mashfikul Haque ordered to send the defendants to jail custody and on Wednesday the remand hearing on Wednesday made the day.

Additional Superintendent of Police said that the police are actively arresting every accused in the case. He said all the technologies are being used for this.

On the other hand, all medical tests of the victim were done on Tuesday in Noakhali General Hospital.


General Secretary of Bangladesh Mahila Parishad, Dr Malka Banu, said that the investigation of the case of Subarnacharra and the criminals will be quickly brought to justice.


On Sunday night, on the way back home after adding husband's motorcycle from local Cherubbazar market, 10-12 people led by Yusuf Majhi and Bacu Majdi beat up the victim's motorbike. After holding her husband on one side, she raped her in a banana garden near Bacchu Majhi, Fazlu and Abul Bashar. Later, they were admitted to the Noakhali General Hospital with the help of local people. The next day, the victim's husband named 8 people and filed a case with the Charabbar police station, killing 12 people including unknown four others.
