Celebrating DNA Day at Nobie Prabi

Noakhali correspondent:Nobahabi University of Science and Technology on the occasion of the anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the University of NOBPB Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering Department, celebrated World DNA Day 2019 with a slogan "DNA technology should be introduced in the development of human civilization".

On the occasion of the celebration of the day, the inauguration of modern laboratories of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering Department, introduction of Rally, DNA Day and relevant discussions, poster sessions and prize distribution and cultural programs were organized. The Vice-Chancellor Professor was present as the chief guest at the program. M. Ahiduzzaman.

Treasurer Professor was present as special guest. Md. Faruq Uddin, Deans of the Faculty of Science, Professor Dr. Md Salim Hossain, Dr. Md. Murad Hossain, Associate Professor and Chairman, Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering Division.

Also present at the ceremony was' IQAC Director Professor Dr. Ashraful Islam, chairman of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Subodh Kumar Sarkar, IIS Institute's Director Dr. Abdullah Al Mamun and teachers of different departments.
