On the case of gang rape of mother of two children in Sonaimuri of Noakhali, two accused are remanded five days remand. Victim examination is complete

Noakhali correspondent:Police have filed a 5-day remand of two accused in connection with gang-rape of two children in Bargaon union of Sonaimuri upazila of Noakhali. On Friday, the six accused, Aminul Islam Montu and Nizamuddin, were sent to jail after the two accused in the court.

Dr Syed Mohiuddin Abdul Azim, RMO of Noakhali General Hospital, said the medical examination of the victim was almost complete. There are two remaining exams.

Officer-in-Charge of Sonaimuri Thana Abdus Samad said that the 6 accused have been appealed in 5-day remand in the court of the accused. The order will be ordered after the remand hearing.

It is to be mentioned that on Wednesday, the police recovered the victim from a pond in Daulatpur village of Bargaon union on Wednesday midnight and admitted to hospital. The tortured women are residents of East Nateswar village of Nateshwar Union of the same upazila.

On Thursday afternoon, Sonaimuri police station filed a case against rape. The police arrested two accused named Aminul Islam and Nizamuddin on the incident. Sonaimuri Police could not arrest the other accused Nuranu alias Tarek and Alauddin till now.
