In Noakhali Choumuhani, 25 shops were burnt down in a devastating fire

Noakhali correspondent: At least 25 shops have been completely burnt in a devastating fire in the main market of Noakhali at Choumuhani in Maheshganj Bazar. The incident occurred on Saturday at 3pm.

Locals said that the fire started at 3 o'clock in the Ramkrishna confectionery reservoir gas stove. It spreads around in a moment. A team of Choumuhani Fire Service came to the spot immediately after getting the news of the fire. Later, four other units of Fire Service from Maizadi, Sonaimuri, Companiganj and Laxmipur tried to control the fire.

After trying for nearly two hours, the fire came under control. At that time, at least 25 shops of various food items including hotels, sweepstakes, electrical equipment, electronics and mobile shops were burnt to ashes.

Humayun Kabir, Assistant Director of Noakhali Fire Service, informed that at around 3pm, the Choumuhani Fire Service in Chuumuhani first came to the spot after seven firefighters came to the spot from Maizdi, Sonaimuri and Companiganj. However, the reason for the fire and the amount of damage can be investigated.
