Hatiya Mahbub chairman, Obaid-Momtaz elected Vice-Chairman in free conflicts

Noakhali correspondent: In the second phase of the fifth upazila elections of the country, 129 upazilas of Noakhali Island Upazila Hatia upazila parishad elections, Mahbub Murshed Liton and vice chairman of the post, Obaid Ulha Biplob and Momtaz Begum have been elected unanimously.

On this, Mahbub Murshed, chairman of the post of chairman and Mamtaz Begum, vice chairman, was elected for the second time.

Wednesday afternoon (February 27th) Returning Officer and District Election Officer. Rabiul Hossain declared them privately elected.

Returning Officer and District Election Officer Rabiul Hossain said that no other candidate of the chairman and vice chairman was withdrawn on the last day of withdrawal of nomination papers on Wednesday and as a candidate for three posts, he was declared elected as a private candidate according to the will of the law.

In the meantime, according to the schedule, on March 18, the vote of Hatiya Upazila Parishad election was to be held. On February 18, the last day of submission of nomination papers for Hatia Upazila Parishad election was held. Only three candidates have submitted the nomination papers for chairman, vice-chairman and female vice-chairman. The last day of the scrutiny of nomination papers on February 20 and the last date for withdrawal of candidacy on February 27.
